    While shooting nine Breast Cancer survivors, I created an environment for the women to tell their stories in groups of three. This enabled me to shoot in a candid style that felt safe for them.

    To solicit a metaphor for their battle with the disease, I shot my intimate conversation with my final subject while recounting the day of the race.
